The winter meeting of the Canadian Critical Care Trials Group (CCCTG) was held from January 22nd to the 25th followed by the Canadian Traumatic brain injury Research Consortium (CTRC) held on January 25th and 26th. The first morning session of the CTRC was held jointly with the CCCTG. These two collaborative research networks aim at promoting, developing and consolidating collaborations between researchers accross Canada in the fields of critical care medicine and TBI, respectively.
