Alexis Turgeon, Dean Fergusson and François Lauzier are the principal investigators in this multicenter randomized controlled trial to establish the optimal transfusion strategy in patients with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury.
Recruitment for the HEMOTION trial is progressing very well at the CHU de Québec-Université Laval. We exceeded our target of 1-2 patients per month! We look forward to starting this new trial in other sites in Canada and United Kingdom!
